Ascend 7 has a client whose web site usage we monitor on a monthly basis. We believe the statistics from this website provides great information about web usage in WA. Our client is the sporting association of a popular winter sport, played by men and women of all ages from juniors, seniors, veterans, and elite. In the association’s peak period (winter months), the site averages 50,000 visitors a month from 15,000 unique IPs.
Apple and iPhone Safari’s popularity on the rise
This month, for the first time, Apple Safari has become the second most used browser behind IE 8. Over 20% of our client’s users came to the site from Apple Safari, which is significant compared to six months ago (at the start of our client’s peak period), when only 6% of clients used this browser.
iPhone Safari was the 4th most popular browser.
