Ascend 7 has a client whose web site usage we monitor on a monthly basis. We believe the statistics from this website provides great information about web usage in WA. Our client is the sporting association of a popular winter sport, played by men and women of all ages from juniors, seniors, veterans, and elite. In the association’s peak period (winter months), the site averages 50,000 visitors a month from 15,000 unique IPs.
Mac and iPhone operating system usage increasing
This month, for the first time, the Mac OS has topped the list for most used operating system in WA. And it’s quite a substantial jump in percentage usage from last month, and from our client’s typical peak period usage (winter months) – nearly 28% of this month’s visitors to the site used a Mac OS, when compared to the typical peak period usage of 8-15%.
