The Subiaco Community Men's Shed now has a web presence and its own web address, with their new website going live last month. Located at www.subished.org.au the new website is now a destination for interested people to find out about the Shed and its activities, such as opening times and a gallery of some projects and events, as well as sign up to become new members.
Gary Gaunt, President of the Subiaco Community Men's Shed, said his team was delighted with the new site, built by locally-based Ascend 7.
"Ascend 7 built the website much faster than expected and the site has far exceeded my expectations for the benefits to be delivered," he said. "For a bunch of old blokes, we are sophisticated in the digital space, but, Ascend 7 leveraged our web requirements to another level entirely."
The new website will also serve existing members with an online membership renewal plus easy access to all induction documents, safety documents, equipment induction and procedure documents, and other policies and procedures.
Ascend 7 CEO, Rox Dawson, said helping the Shed get their own web presence was something close to his heart.
